When studying the information on the courses at WMMTBOC 2015 in Bulletin 3 of the second World Cup Round in Portugal, Masters who entered for example for M45 or W55 may wonder about the course data of their class. The x5 classes are meant to have the same course as the corresponding ten-year age class, i.e. the same class for M40 / M45 and W50 / W55 for example. Maybe the organisers could clarify this in the bulletin?
The newly introduced 5-year age classes without a minimum number of participants per age group will not only make prize-givings twice as long for the masters classes, but above all the World Championships for Masters are devalued and lose prestige if it is so easy to win a medal in classes with few participants. Is this really what the Masters want?
